Mission/Charter Statement

The Andover Pollinator Awareness Project (APAP) is a volunteer-driven organization, created to inform the community about the vital role pollinators play in our food supply and environment; and to encourage each of us to participate in protecting pollinators in Andover, a “Bee Safe City”.

The APAP’s mission is to inform the community about habitat decline, pesticide usage and pathogens that impact pollinators; and through our actions to encourage everyone to participate in sustaining our vibrant “Bee Safe City”.

The APAP believes that our work is an essential contribution to the habitat corridor critical to all pollinators and other wild life.

The APAP recognizes that the time for action is now and that what we do impacts not only pollinators, but also the environment and the community, as well as future generations.
